Clarity

In the unfathomable vastness of the universe, we’re all here, in the same place, at the same time, our eyes open to the light of the same dazzling sun, our bodies touching the same earth, our lungs filled with the same air. We’re all alive and awake, citizens of this same moment. What a blessing it is, to be here with you. You were born from the earth. You must water yourself with love and compassion, feed your soil with learning, pick out the weeds of doubt and fear, allow yourself the sunlight of quiet contemplation.  You can’t just sit and wait for flowers to grow; tend to yourself, and watch how quickly you flourish.
