Bunny

A few years ago, following the start of the full-scale war, Dmytro Trush discovered alternative photography, working with ambrotype (the wet plate collodion process). What began as a way to step back from the pace of commercial work has become a creative practice in its own right, built around the meditative rhythm of chemistry, silver and light. For Dmytro, it acts as a bridge between the modern digital world and the tangible beauty of traditional photography.

In recent years he has shown work in both group and solo exhibitions, and has taught workshops on creating ambrotypes. His work has been recognised in competitions including Analog Sparks, BIFA and TIFA. His current focus is historical nude photography.
