Giulia is a tattoo traveler from São Paulo. She’s living in an up-hill apartment in Barcelona, where she has her studio. Her dream is to tattoo-living in many countries and have high quality, life-time pictures of the experience. Burning cigarettes and staring thoughtfully into miniature mirrors, she contemplates her path to doing what she loves best - imbuing bodies with beautiful ink.
She thinks back to the time of the first time the needle touched her skin. The first time it penetrated the outer layer and bled black ooze into her arms and permanently reconfigured her appearance to that of something more unique and meaningful. She thinks back to all the times the ink has crafted itself against her body, and given her peace in this incomprehensible existence. Giulia relishes the next time she can once again add a piece of art to her collection. Her tattoos aren't just a part of her body, but also a part of her soul. When she dies she will bleed ink.
