Dance, dance, dance

He will change you. I’m not talking about the first nor the second. I’m talking about all of those guys that walk into your life and dance with your heart. They change you.

Once they walk away, the rhythm that your hearts danced to, the new steps you discovered together, will be the only thing your heart will remember how to properly do. However, this time around it will be performing a solo show and it won’t know how to go on about it. The realisation will hit your poor little heart and it will understand that it will have to learn how to dance on its own all over again.

That’s when new steps and new skills will be discovered. That’s when you will start being reborn and turning into something even better than you could fathom. A brand new dancer will be sitting in your chest, moving to a brand new beat, to a brand new rhythm. Solo dancing had never felt better until that one time you had to pick yourself up, pull it together and force it to become one with the music.

They will change you, but it is you who decides if it’s going to be for the better.
