Time tells no lies. It drifts through the stratosphere with inevitability. Both instantaneous, but also slow and infinite. It ticks between every crevasse, and it moves between all our bones. We cannot deny it's life within us all, and we cannot reject the impermanence it places on our every action.
But it is a glorious and divine gift that allows us to heal. It allows us to explore. It allows to stumble upon the unknown and let it grow into something that we never knew it could.
You are the time of my life. You are the clock that keeps me ticking. You are the much needed healing that I required all these years. You are the times that I will always want to remember, both ferociously painful and utterly blissful.
Even though our times where not always aligned, they mirrored each other in partiality. Our time was spent well. It was made for two people who knew that friendship was time well spent.
