The Rabbit hole

Poor little Alice fell down the rabbit hole. Down she tumbled, for what felt like forever. She awoke lost and confused, where is she? What is this strange place? Why could she not remember how she got here?

She realized she had to get out of here but first she had to find something to sustain her. For no adventurer had ever adventured without proper preparation.  She chewed on this, she nibbled on that. She ate whatever she could find, for one should always seize the opportunity while it presents itself.

As she looked for another snack that would preserve her for the coming journey, a little bird dropped a parchment. The scroll announced "Dear Alice would you kindly attend our party, for we would be delighted to have your company. Please come at once."

Alice rushed to find something to wear, for even though she was in a strange place, in a strange situation she was taught a lady must look pretty at a party. The resourceful damsel was able to find something quite fitting and rather revealing, for one cannot play it too safe when adventure is near. When she arrived at the party Alice was surprised to find no one was there, she wandered who had invited her, but not for long for if there was a party, party is what she would do.

She awoke with a start, was it a dream she wandered? Still tasting the foreign flavors on her lips and the interesting smells that still clung to her clothes. She knew it had to be more...
