Calm
"I'm Nils Heck from Darmstadt in Germany. I prefer to shoot on 35mm film because I love the process that it involves. Furthermore, this is compounded by the fact that my images are tangible from the beginning of the process.
In November, I met Amy Verlaun from Wonderwall Management, and we burned some rolls together. I shot her with no makeup and some clothes she had brought with. We just hung out, drank coffee and talked about the nuances of life.
I would call the story "Calm" because she was so relaxed in front of the camera and the pictures came out in a similar fashion. My only hope is that one day we will meet again and create more together."
